Taking part in the neutering program in Tanzania was an incredibly rewarding experience. The work being done at the shelter is truly remarkable.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who care deeply for every animal that comes through their doors. It was evident that they see each dog and cat not just as an animal, but as a beloved member of the community.

The shelter itself was filled with love, care, and attention for the animals. I had the chance to witness at first-hand how the team worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of every animal, whether it was providing medical care, food, or simply companionship. The staff’s kindness and commitment to improving the lives of these animals was inspiring.

Mbwa-wa-Africa and Four Steps to Freedom have a great cooperation with each other and their common goal to help animals makes them an amazing team who can do everything in their power to fulfil that goal.

I have been amazed of the clinic they are building at the shelter area. It's a great investment which is going to be used for training and treating animals in need. I was very impressed seeing the structure of the building and I already had so many ideas in my head for the use of it in the future.

One of the most beautiful moments was seeing the dogs playing together, happy and free. Their joyful energy and the sense of security they felt in the shelter showed just how much love they have been given there. It was heartwarming to watch them.

Cooperating with the shelter staff was an absolute pleasure. They welcomed me as part of the team, and there was a sense of unity and shared purpose. Every task, whether big or small, was done with dedication and a deep sense of satisfaction. The fulfillment that comes from knowing we were making a real difference in the lives of these animals is something I will carry with me forever.

Being part of this program was more than just a job—it was a privilege, and I’m grateful for the chance to have contributed to such an important cause. The experience reinforced my belief in the power of community, compassion, and the positive impact we can have when we come together for a common goal.
