Donate now to help suffering animals and stop rabies in Tanzania

Four Steps to Freedom is a charity registered in Scotland, run entirely by volunteers.

Our lifesaving work relies on the generosity of our donors, our supporters and the volunteer vets, nurses and educators from around the world who travel to Tanzania every year on our behalf.

We rely on donations like yours in order to:

  • Invest in life-saving veterinary equipment at The Gongo Centre

  • Shelter and care for sick and suffering animals

  • Vaccinate and sterilise dogs against rabies

  • Educate local communities

  • Train Tanzanian vets

“As a volunteering vet, it is a privilege to get to see at first-hand what our donations to Four Steps to Freedom have provided - every penny improving the clinic facilities and the welfare of Tanzanian dogs and children.”

Susan Cunningham, Veterinary Surgeon, Northern Ireland

“I saw at first-hand the wonderful impact Four Steps to Freedom have had. The financial support they give to Mbwa Wa Africa has allowed for the necessary infrastructure and the new Animal Welfare & Veterinary Training Centre to be built, which will allow a safer and more sterile environment once equipped. Four Steps to Freedom is definitely a charity worth supporting as their work has and is continuing to make a huge difference to animal welfare and the local community.”

Larissa Hodge, Vet nurse, Scotland
