Thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, we are delighted to announce that we have just signed the purchase deeds for a new property in the Arusha Region of Tanzania!

Volunteer veterinary nurse Emily arrived at our base in Arusha in January this year, where she’ll be spending six weeks in the Tanzanian sunshine supporting the team at Mbwa Wa Africa Animal Rescue.

Our team seized a window of opportunity to continue the fight to control rabies on Mafia Island, off the coast of mainland Tanzania.

By teaching school children about rabies, our local Education Officers can equip them with knowledge and insights that may one day save their lives.
