Equipped with state-of-the-art surgical facilities, laboratory services and veterinary training rooms, the Gongo Centre provides the capacity that we need to accelerate our lifesaving work in Tanzania.

Today we are sending out a message of immense gratitude to all of our donors, sponsors and volunteers from around the world, who have given so generously, to make our shared vision of hope a reality for the people and animals of Tanzania.

The Gongo Centre at a Glance

A state-of-the-art animal hospital; a permanent base for our anti-rabies campaign work; a world-class training facility where international veterinary surgeons and paraprofessionals come to share their wealth of small-animal surgery skills with local Tanzanian vets and vet students: the Gongo Centre will transform the scale of our impact in Tanzania.

Built on the grounds of Mbwa Wa Africa Animal Rescue. the Gongo Centre’s facilities have been designed and built to the specifications of our expert international volunteer vet team: allowing us to accommodate and care for sick, injured, abandoned and neglected animals as well as accelerating our anti-rabies vaccination and sterilisation campaigns.
