New life-saving tricycle arrives

Four Steps to Freedom has provided the much-needed funds to purchase a Guta - a cargo tricycle. After being assembled and registered, this has just arrived with the team at Mbwa Wa Africa Animal Rescue.

The Guta will help enormously with the team’s weekly village visits that provide door to door treatments for dogs, including those receiving chemotherapy. Naftal (pictured below), veterinary assistant, usually makes these crucial visits.

The Guta can transport eight dogs at a time back to the clinic if they need more intensive care.

Every donation we receive takes us closer to eliminating rabies in Tanzania, one town at a time, enabling humans and animals to live in harmony.
