TREASURER

“It means the world to me to be able to support a charity in Tanzania that is actively changing cultural attitudes towards dogs, while simultaneously transforming the lives of people.  Those animals, which hitherto would have been killed, are now spared, through educating locals about rabies and the management and care of dogs. I believe Four Steps To Freedom is saving lives. My dog is a big part of my life, and I look forward to the day when people in Tanzania can experience the same companionship, without fear of rabies.”

Margret joined the team in 2018. She provides invaluable secretarial support for our day-to-day operations, as well as supporting our fundraising efforts by employing her wonderful creative talents.  Using wool, felts, and various fabrics, and her fine skills as a seamstress, her imaginative creations are both greatly admired and sought after.

As well as her contribution to Four Steps to Freedom, Margret is involved with various not-for-profit organisations including Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue. As a native of Germany, she ensures her mother tongue is kept up-to-date, by keeping in touch with family there.
